Interstate Online Software, Inc. (“IOS”) has developed this Privacy
Policy (“Policy”) to explain our online information practices as
they relate to information submitted through this web site (the
“Site”). This Policy is effective from the time it is posted on the
Site, as noted above, and only with respect to the site on which it
appears. IOS collects and retains only information that you
voluntarily submit to us, or as otherwise described below in the
paragraph tilted “Passive Collection”. Please read below for more
specific information on the type of information we collect and how
it is used. Please also review the Site Terms and Conditions for
further information regarding your use of the Site.
- TYPES OF INFORMATION WE COLLECT AND HOW IT IS USED
I Need a Truck! In order to use the “I Need a Truck!”
service, you must submit your contact information and truck needs.
In submitting your information, and any additional comments, through
the I Need a Truck! link, you agree to IOS’s sharing of your
information with any and all third party truck dealers. IOS makes no
warranties, representations, or guarantees as to how your
information is stored or used by such third parties.
Contact Information. If you choose to submit your contact
information to us, we collect your name, company name, phone number,
email address, and your suggestion, question, comment, or customer
service request. We use the information to process your suggestion
or customer service request. We also will use this information to
improve our products and services. For more information, please see
the Terms and Conditions for Site Use.
Passive Collection. We may collect information passively
using “cookies” or “Web beacons.” A cookie is a small text file
containing a unique identification number that is transferred from a
Web site to the hard drive of your computer so that the site
administrator may identify your computer and passively track its
activities on the site. When someone visits the Site, a cookie may
be placed on the user’s machine (if the user accepts cookies) or is
read if the user has visited the Site previously. Web beacons, also
known as clear GIF technology or action tags, are small images that
IOS may place on Web pages and within Web-based e-mail newsletters
that assist in delivering the cookie. IOS may collect, use, and
disclose the information so collected and may share aggregated
information (non-personally identifiable) about you to third-parties
for statistical collection and/or other purposes, either through use
of the Site or other online services.
Disclosure Required. IOS reserves the right to disclose any
information you have submitted, without notice, if required to do so
by law or if we believe in good faith that such action is necessary
to:
(a) conform to the requirements of the law or to comply with legal
process served on IOS or the Site;
(b) protect and defend the rights or property of IOS; or,
(c) protect the personal safety of IOS employees, associates,
consumers, or the public.
- OTHER INFORMATION COLLECTED
We may from time to time contract with advertisers or other third
parties who place information, advertisements, or other promotional
material or links on our Site. If you click on an advertisement or
other link provided by a third party and leave our Site, whether
through a link or through visiting another web site framed within
our Site, you are subject to the privacy policies of the advertisers
or other third parties. We do not have responsibility for, or access
to, the information collected by these third parties. Any links from
this Site to the web site of a third party are not endorsements,
sponsorships, or recommendations of the ideas, products, or services
of the third party. IOS is not liable for any damages, including
indirect, incidental, special, or consequential, resulting from the
use of, or information submitted through, third party web sites.
Information of Others. Submission of the information of
someone other than yourself, or the impersonation of any person or
entity, is strictly prohibited. If, however, you choose to submit
the information of someone other than yourself without IOS’s
knowledge, the information will be handled in accordance with this
Policy. You, however, are solely responsible and liable for any
claims relating to your submission and use of that information.

of the personal data collected is stored directly in the pages. We
have further measures in place to protect your personal information
once it reaches us.
